Regular weekly or fortnightly house cleaning starts from $165 including GST ($150 + GST). One-off cleans are quoted. The exact price depends on the size of your home, its condition and how often we clean. Quotes are free, and we confirm your price before we start.
What's included in a standard house clean?
Kitchen benches, the stovetop and sink, bathrooms and toilets, dusting of reachable surfaces, vacuuming and mopping floors, and emptying bins. On a regular clean, we also do the skirting boards every eight weeks.
Should I book weekly or fortnightly?
Weekly suits busy families, homes with pets and homes with young children, where dust and mess build up fast. Fortnightly suits smaller homes and people who keep on top of daily tidying. We can help you choose when you get a quote.
Keeping a home clean takes hours most people don't have. Our house cleaning service gives you a clean, fresh home on a schedule that suits you, without spending your weekend on it. You can book a regular weekly or fortnightly clean, a one-off clean when things have piled up, or a deeper spring clean.
Regular weekly or fortnightly house cleaning starts from $165 including GST. Your first two cleans are a trial, with no commitment. They help us understand your home and what you need, so we can set a fair price. If you'd like to continue, we set up a simple service agreement. There's no locked-in contract, and you can stop any time with two weeks' notice.
What's included in every standard clean
Kitchen: benches wiped, the stovetop cleaned and the sink cleaned.
Bathrooms and toilets: cleaned in every clean.
Dusting: reachable surfaces dusted throughout the home.
Floors: vacuumed and mopped.
Bins: emptied.
Skirting boards: cleaned every eight weeks for regular customers.
Wiping the outside of appliances isn't part of a standard clean. Making beds can be added when you book. If you want more done, ask about a deep clean.
Weekly, fortnightly or one-off
Weekly cleaning suits busy families, homes with pets and homes with young children. Hair, dust and mess build up quickly in these homes, and a weekly visit stops it getting on top of you.
Fortnightly cleaning suits smaller homes, apartments, and couples or singles who keep on top of daily tidying. It costs less over a month, but there is more build-up between visits. Read more on our weekly home cleaning page.
One-off cleans are for when you need a reset, such as before guests arrive, after an illness or after a busy stretch at work.
The same cleaner each visit
On a regular clean, the same cleaner comes each time, so they learn your home and how you like things done. If that ever has to change, we'll talk to you about it first.
Deep and spring cleans
A deep clean or spring clean goes further than a standard clean. It suits homes that haven't had a proper clean in a while, or a first clean before regular visits start. Tell us what you want covered and we'll give you a free quote.
Moving out of a rental? That's a different job with a detailed checklist. See our end of lease cleaning service.
Your price depends on the size of your home, its condition, how often we clean and any extras you add. A home cleaned weekly or fortnightly takes less time each visit than one with months of build-up, so a first clean can take longer.
Before your first clean
Access: you don't need to be home. Many customers leave a key in a lockbox or arrange a code. We agree the access with you before the first clean.
A quick tidy helps: put away clothes, toys and paperwork so we can spend the time cleaning, not moving things.
Pets: let us know about any pets, and whether they need to stay in one room or outside.
Changes: please give us at least 14 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cleaning and allergies
Regular cleaning helps keep dust down. The Victorian Government's Better Health Channel recommends regular vacuuming and damp dusting for people sensitive to house dust mites. A regular clean is one part of that routine.
Where we clean
We clean homes right across Canberra, including Belconnen, Gungahlin, Tuggeranong, Woden Valley, Weston Creek and the inner north and south. See all our Canberra service areas. In New South Wales we clean homes in Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra and Googong.
Aussie Duo is a family-owned Canberra business that has been cleaning since 2013. Our cleaners are police-checked and vaccinated against seasonal flu, and we carry $20 million public liability insurance.
