What affects the cost of a builders clean?
We charge by the cleaner hour, so the floor area sets most of the price, because a handover clean covers every room. Heavy plaster dust, paint and silicone marks, tile adhesive and protective film all take longer, and so do sites where power or water isn't connected yet. Fine construction dust needs careful removal. SafeWork NSW warns that dry sweeping can spread crystalline silica dust and recommends wet cleaning or a vacuum with a HEPA filter, which is how our crews work.
